That was wonderful old hotel set in downtown area, next to tasty nearby restaurants, center of the building which was built in 1869 and sightseeing places. Good location - just a walk down to everywhere we needed. Also, we wanted to visit Colton Point State Park, that was not too far from the property. Was a handy base for trip.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel that was centrally located and just a short walk to everything downtown. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I loved the old-timey atmosphere and the character of the hotel. The bathroom was small but had all the necessities, and the breakfast had a decent selection. Plus, the price was affordable for a three-night stay.
The room could have used some more decorations to make it feel less stark.
